The dogs and I hike a lot in the mountains West of Boulder. Within 25 minutes, we can be at a trailhead leading to the most beautiful wilderness areas of Colorado.

Our hikes range from a short 5 mile jaunt on a weekday morning before work to an all day 15 mile hike up in the mountains on a weekend. What a great way for dogs and humans both to enjoy the beautiful Colorado wilderness and burn off energy and stress.

Colorado also has lots of lakes and reservoirs. The dogs like nothing better than swimming in the lakes retrieving bumpers on a hot Summer day.
